Species Information
- Deciduous tree growing up to 25 m tall with an irregular and rounded crown. Leaves 8-20 cm long, bi-pinnately compound with 3-6 pairs of opposite pinnae. Flowers c. 1 cm long, creamy yellow and in 12-30 cm long spikes. Fruits strap-shaped, curved slightly, pale green ripening brown to blackish and become spirally twisted after dehiscing, revealing smooth, heart-shaped, and uniformly red seeds.
