Species Information

1. Description
  • Large conifer with a narrow and conical crown. Branching occurs at a height between 20-30 m with an entire leaf margin (2.5-14 cm long). Leaf length is 3-10 times the leaf width. Leaves are opposite or sub-opposite. Pollen cones are dark brown and cylindrical (5-9 cm long, 2-4 cm wide). Seed cones are brown and ellipsoid to round (10-13 cm wide).
