1. Description
  • Tree with a round, bushy crown. Compound leaves spirally arranged around branches. Leaflets in pairs of 3-4 and slightly offset from each other. Leaflets elliptic but slightly asymmetric, usually with smooth edges but sometimes smooth. Flowers with small, white petals, larger red sepals, and in branched inflorescences. Fruits are 3-winged, papery, yellowish, and contain 2 egg-shaped black seeds.
