Species Information
- Shrub or small evergreen tree growing up to 5 m tall with pendent branches. Leaves c. 1 cm long, needle-like, opposite. Flowers 3-4 mm across, cream pink, solitary, axillary. Fruits are capsules 3 mm in diameter, urn-shaped, ripening reddish brown.
- Widespread from South China to Thailand, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Sulawesi, New Guinea, and Australia
- Mainly confined to vegetation on dry sandy or rocky coastal bluffs
