- Small semi-deciduous tree 6-10 m tall with an irregular and open crown. Leaves 7-10 cm long, bi-lobed, heart-shaped. Flowers large, c. 15 cm across, deep pink, fragrant and in terminal clusters. The plant is sterile, and the fruits are unknown.
