Species Information
- Small evergreen tree 7-9 m tall, shrubby in habit with a low, dense, rounded crown. Leaves c. 18-25 cm long, pinnately compound with 5-7 leaflets. Young leaves light brown, pendulous. Inflorescence 9-10 cm in diameter. Ovoid flowers 3.5-4 cm long, red with yellow anthers and in dense clusters. Fruits are pods c. 15 cm long.
