Species Information
- Evergreen tree growing up to 25 m tall with a dense, cylindrical crown. Leaves 20-45 cm long, pinnate with 3-5 pairs of leaflets and a terminal leaflet. Flowers c. 20 cm long, pink-purple with yellow patch inside, in branched clusters at the ends of twigs. Broadly ovoid fruits 7-15 cm long, swollen, thick, and leathery.

- Common in lowland forests
