- Medium-sized deciduous tree growing up to 20 m tall. Slender drooping branches. Leaves 12-40 cm long, 3-8 pairs of leaflets. Flowers very showy, 3.5-5 cm long, golden yellow in pendulous unbranched clusters 20-60 cm long. Fruits 20-60 cm long, tubular, green, ripening black.
