- Evergreen tree growing up to 45 m tall with a spreading crown. Leaves 5-15 cm long, elliptic or ovate, whitish waxy below, penninerved, and spirally arranged to sub-opposite. Flowers pale yellow, sweet-scented, in axillary and pseudo-terminal clusters. Fruits 0.8 cm across, globose.
