- Shrubby tree growing up to 10 m tall with a dense, bushy, and rounded crown. Leaves c. 20 cm long, ovate with wavy margins. Flowers c. 5 cm across, tubular and flaring, dark orange and in dense terminal clusters. Fruits c. 5 cm long, pear-shaped.
