Species Information
- Large tree with resinous wood and buttresses growing up to about 45 m tall in its natural habitat. Leaves 4-6 cm long and 2-4 cm wide, coriaceous, broadly ovate, green, and alternately arranged. Acumen up to 1.5 cm long, petiole about 0.5-1 cm long. Flowers borne on axillary and terminal panicle inflorescence up to 7 cm long, each with 5 oblong and white petals. Fruits are winged nuts with 5 wings up to 6 cm long.
