Species Information
- Deciduous strangling tree growing up to 30 m tall with lanky and spreading branches and few aerial roots. Leaves 8-24 cm in length, elliptic-oblong, simple, on long and slender petioles; spirally arranged or clustered at the end of the twigs. Figs 1-1.5 cm, globose to slightly pear-shaped on a slender stalk, ripening pink to dark maroon with whitish patches.
