- Evergreen straggly shrub or small tree growing up to 6 m tall with woody thorns. Leaves 4-9 cm long, ovate to lanceolate and covered with dense, white, felt-like hairs below. Flowers 2-4 cm long, yellow. Fruits c. 1.8 cm long, spherical to obovoid.
