Species Information
- Large deciduous tree up to 60 m tall. Large, rounded crown. Leaves 7-24 cm long, pinnately compound with 4-7 leaflets on each side of the rachis, terminal leaflet absent. Flowers small, c. 4 mm across, cream coloured to white, in branched clusters up to 20 cm long. Fruits are capsules 5-7 cm across, woody, globose, and dehiscing into 5 valves when ripe.
