Species Information
- Solitary palm to 4 m tall, 5-6 cm in diameter, frond orbicular, undivided to 2 m across. The inflorescence has a main stalk, with many-branched second-order branches; flowers cream-coloured, ripe fruits red to orange, globose, 1-1.5 cm in diameter.
- Native to the Santa Cruz archipelago and San Cristobal in the Solomon Islands and the islands in the northern half of Vanuatu.
