- Solitary feather-leaved palm growing up to 2 m tall, sometimes more. Slender stem with peg-like persistent leaf bases and dense crown. Leaves c. 2 m long, gently curved and drooping. Leaflets slender, glossy green, and evenly spaced. Fruits small, ovoid, purple-black when ripe, and edible.
