Species Information
- Medium-sized tree growing up to 50 m tall with spreading crown. Compound leaves up to 1 m long with leaflets in pairs of 4-13, ovate to elliptic to falcate with toothed margins, terminal leaflet absent. Young leaves flush pink to reddish brown. Flowers small, c. 2 mm long, white or yellow, and in terminal branched clusters. Globular to ovoid fruits 1-3 cm across, ripening purple, seeds covered with translucent arillode.
