Species Information
- Close-clustering feather-leaved palm growing up to 7.6 m tall, 5 cm in diameter. Stem greyish, crown hemispherical, crownshaft light to olive green. Leaves 90-180 cm long and leaflets up to 45 cm long, arranged irregularly in one plane and with toothed ends. Petioles 30 cm long, erect, arches slightly. Inflorescence much branched below the crownshaft, c. 60 cm long, erect, and bearing cream-coloured flowers. Fruits c. 13 mm across, ovoid, green ripening yellow to red.
